"This incredible place is a gem. Situated nicely outside the congested heart of downtown Charlottesville, the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, and the service was fantastic. Most importantly the food was AMAZING. Fresh ingredients, plated beautifully, with amazing flavors. The wine and beer selection was also expansive. We are from out of town and would love to go back!"

"Counter service, somewhat rundown appearance. The guy who took my order didn't give me a cup for my drink, so I assumed it would come when i got food, but it didn't. The person giving out food couldn't reach over and give me a cup so I had to stand in line again to get my cup for a drink. Food is reasonable, good prices, nothing particularly notable. Lamb sausage and chicken kebabs were pretty dry. Good flavors, something different for a change."

"Has to be one of the best restaurants in the entire Charlottesville area. We had the privilege of working with Ali for our wedding rehearsal dinner of 35 people. Ali was professional, engaged and an absolute pleasure to work with the entire time! Our guests were blown away at the quality of the food and the diversity of the food offerings. Also, the baklava had to be the BEST baklava I've ever tasted. They also made us a custom gluten/dairy-free desert that our guests loved. I can't recommend this restaurant enough for a quick bite, or as full event caterer. They do NOT disappoint. Thank you Ali!!!!!"

"Zero stars if i could! We tried the buffet. The food was inedible! Seriously. How do you mess up rice?!! There was a plastic taste to the rice. The chicken was bland. The bread tasted like a saltine cracker. Canned spinach would have been better than this spinach. I don?t even know how they are in business. $16 for this?! We paid and left without eating. ????"
