"We found this place completely by accident because it was pouring with rain and we just needed somewhere close to our car park to duck into and sort out paying for parking as well as grabbing a sandwich. It doesn’t look much from the outside...and is down some stairs. Once inside we discovered the menu to be varied and delicious and that they bake real bread on the premises without additives. Heaven! We had a couple of the best toasted sandwiches ever, one on sour dough and one on a ciabatta. This is where we will always go in future for lunch whilst out shopping in Cheltenham."

"This is a stand on the High Street generally it is not there on a Monday or when it’s too wet and it’s lunchtime only. The falafels themselves are completely fresh with a wide range of extras and with or without pitta. From stalls in the old city in Jerusalem to late night cafes in Amsterdam I’ve tried falafels in a lot of places and Cheltenham is lucky to have one this good. The chap who runs it is a really nice guy."

"This street food car is always a primer when I visit the city center of cheltenham, the stable owner is always friendly and takes so much pride in his business. they cannot miss the wood car with a large green umbrella! falafels are always freshly cooked, with options to buy them themselves, or in a pitta (with beats) or an salatbox. I never had a bad experience in several years of visit. (except to be disappointed that I forgot that it is closed on Monday very occasionally bad weather will mean that it does not open, but this is unusual, and always communicates on the Facebook page."

"I was wandering down the highstreet the other day, looking for a bite to eat, and decided to give Falafel King a whirl, despite not being a huge falafel fan (they are often quite stodgy and bland). I'm happy to have taken a punt, because the falafel wrap I had there was fresh, light crispy, savoury and in all other ways utterly delicious!"
