"The venue was booked for a friends birthday. We booked a booth for a group of ten to have dinner and drinks. After calling several times to confirm our reservation and having being told everything was sorted we arrived to a table that seated only 4 with no other table available. We spoke to a member of staff and was told there was nothing they could do as all the other tables were pre-booked and even the manager told us that some of us would just have to stand and most people stand and eat at their venue. I thought this was ridiculous due to the fact they were serving burgers and other diner style foods. We were also limited to the selection of drinks we were able to purchase in the room we were in and were told we had to go downstairs if we wanted something specific. The food was very average and the room was so cold i kept my coat on all night."

"Looking at photos online, it doesn’t seem like much, but I think this place is a must-try. Having an Eastern European background, I thought the food was absolutely delicious and reminded me of what we have back home. Staff were friendly, there was no wait for us to get a seat, and service was quick. Highly recommend stopping here for brunch :"

"Food here can be excellent or disappointing. Service can be good but also poor. It tries too hard to be trendy whilst occasionally neglecting the important stuff like food and service. It’s relatively cheap and has a very good menu. On its day it is very good value but on an off day you will wish you went somewhere else."

"Very slow service toast was burnt veg sausage hadn't been cooked thoroughly beans lacked flavour slightly over priced on a positive note staff were polite lovely garden I will give this place the benefit of doubt and try again next time as menu is quite extensive"

"I'm quite new in my work, but I have heard my colleagues talking about Falafel place a lot and therefore I was very excited when they went there again and I could join them. Actually till I managed to write the review (only one week) we went there again. The cafe is tiny, but still they managed to squeeze inside few small tables for two so in the end there is sitting area for about 20people? Its interior is very simple, but very cute and warm at the same time with one wall painted half way through. I was surprised that this place offers actually something else than just falafel wrap and salad, like breakfast omelete, croissants with ham and cheese, other sandwiches and cakes. But both time I visited I tried falafel dish. It's prepare freshly just informar of the cafe and the gentleman from Lebanon who makes them is so friendly and funny that you don't mind to wait a bit at all! Falafel wrap is very nice, but I prefer salad with hounds, spinach pesto, been and lentil salad and halloumi, it was just delicious! Well, luckily this place is close to our work and we can come back soon again."

"I have to start by saying that the food here is really nice however the service was poor. We had to wait over 45 minutes for our food, during this time 2 families arrived, ordered, ate and left and yet our order still had not arrived. I questioned the waiter 3 times during this time, each time he stated that it is on its way and that we have to be patient if we expect good food. Eventually after a 45 minutes I went to the front to see what was taking them so long, to be told to wait once again. The waiter finally let us know that our order was dropped on the floor and was missed by the chef. Our food finally arrived with a sarcastic comment by the waiter to which I responded by politely stating that we expect to be compensated due to the wait, he ensured that a discount will be given. When it came to paying the bill, the cashier was extremely rude and was not willing to reduce our bill he stated that our drinks had been deducted (two cans of Zup). He than deducted a further £2, we were not impressed. In the end the waiter asked the cashier to meet us halfway and our total bill was reduced by £8 the cashier was not happy by this, he snatched our payment and rudely said that we will be charged double on our next visit; His sarcastic comments and attitude was not appreciated. Considering there are many other turkish restaurants in this area, I would recommend you to go elsewhere where there is a better level of customer service; such as Aziziye however it is popular and therefore reservations are needed to avoid disappointment."
