"I was hoping for calamari. Showed up 15 mins before closing. Worker seemed hostile toward my question, asking if they were still cooking. Overall I didn’t feel welcome and left with a salad. With no olives ? I would have asked for a bigger meal but the guy made me feel uncomfortable for even being there and I should of just left. ?Next time just let people know “the grills are shut off” and make a suggestion for some other type of food you have available."

"Extremely sufficient!. on the search for food, something healthy, fast and economical, then do not look further. my wife had the falafel and I chose the Mexican pita they had to offer. full of jalapenos, huh and other vegetables, the total cost of fast lunch for two were only 16 and change. the sweet were fresh, like the pitas and the huh was delicious. the joint was earlier a dug of infertility, but someone must have taken over and cleaned the place. it is no longer dark like a cave, and the menu table is placed above the counter instead of saved on the back wall as it was earlier. someone will try to make this facility a little more attractive. to you!"

"I was really excited to try this place but unfortunately I ended up having a lot of miscommunication with the staff trying to explain what vegan is after they put clarified butter into my chai. Also the portion sizes are quite small- so you may want to order more than one thing if you are hungry for a meal."

"Great selection of food and the prices are low for what they can get. they offer both vegan/gluten free food and regular food, all tasting fantastic. personally I recome every suppe of the day options, but there is a lot to choose. "Finally found a place in Saskatoon that makes a decent shawarma. Since leaving Toronto I have not found good shawarma in Saskatoon except for an excellent restaurant called Lebanese Kitchen which unfortunately closed down just one month after discovering it. Villa Madina prepares a great shawarma. I have gone so far as to bring some back from Calgary when there until finding Villa Madina."

"Some of you are complaining about customer service. On my first visit, I too felt the customer service was lacking however the shawarma is some of the best in town so I've become a repeat customer. I've got to know the owner and he's a great guy!! <br/ <br/ First impressions aren't always the best impressions. Get back there for some great eats. Now they even have homemade samosas which are pockets full of goodness!!"
