"By far the worst dining experience to date. Arriving early for dinner due to a show we were going to, the hostess seated us in the back. Our servers were both bartenders which could have contributed to the poor service. Our food arrived over an hour after we had been seated and we wondered why this was the case. We had also noticed that food was coming out of the kitchen and being served to other patrons who arrived way later than us and we also noticed patrons leaving after finishing their meal and we still hadn't received ours. We asked to speak to the manager who was to say the least unsympathetic and somewhat smug and presented us with a conclusion that our food order was rung in late by the bartenders serving us even though we were seated in the main dining area and not in the bar. With that said our food finally came out however we were running late for our show so we had to eat extremely fast and consume our drinks quickly. The manager offered to pay for our drinks but after that he was nowhere to be found. The check finally came and to our surprise the alcohol was still on the bill and one of the bartenders argued with us and finally took it off. Clearly a lack of communication between our servers and the manager. Which leads to my ending that he really didn't care about our experience. If you do end of choosing The Neighborly for dinner, please be cognizant who is taking your order and attending to your table. If this is a bartender then they will get distracted and neglect your order and you will get the same bad experience as we did."

"My fiancé and I were really disappointed with our meals overall. The ambiance was beautiful, service was professional, cocktails were great, but we were so disappointed with how our entrees both tasted so incredibly bland, I wished we’d cooked at home and had a much better meal. I ordered the “Atlantic Salmon with cauliflower risotto entree.” To claim cauliflower as risotto was pretty bold and I decided to take a chance on the claim. The salmon, “risotto”, and side veggies tasted like water. I was so disappointed. The only thing that tasted good was the side sauce that made the presentation look really nice but couldn’t salvage the flavor. My fiancé ordered the “hand rolled pasta entree with added salmon” and is having a hard time believing the pasta was hang rolled. The salmon and vegetables were as bland as my dish. He wished he’d tried the cheese burger, but at a restaurant like this couldn’t justify such a basic order. We love the resort but would try somewhere else based solely on the food. Get drinks! Not food"

"We were disappointed in the experience we had. First off, we had lunch at the RB Inn Veranda the week before our event just to make sure they would have the nice bread service we had at Thanksgiving. We were told that was a holiday and they would have plenty of fresh bread loafs. To our surprise bread service would not be ready until 4:00 and it was 3:00. Then we were told we could not order off the menu after 3:00, because they were only offering small y things from the bar. We had two in our party who do not eat meat and wanted to order something else. We had to text our party on their way over and ask them what they wanted us to order. We only had 5 minutes to order. Needless to say, lots of complaints from the family. It was not mentioned on the menu that it would change at 3:00. No bread service was a real disappointment. Prime rib was good , but very thin, lots of fat on it. For 70$ each was expecting more. We had a great lunch for Thanksgiving, but may have to change our celebrations to a different location."
