"Booked an early dinner, wanted to check this place out for a while. Having read some of the reviews, I was a little reluctant, but we were promptly seated. Ordered drinks, the bar was a little slow, but nothing to complain about. My wife ordered the steak salad, which was good. I ordered the prime burger and sweet potato fries and a salad. Burger was really good, two patties cooked to order, they brought fries instead of the sweets, but they corrected the mistake and the sweet potato fries were tasty. Would have been better hot. The salad was fresh with two big strips of bacon. Overall the food, service and ambiance of the restaurant was between fair and good. Might give them another shot, but wouldn't rush back."

"We go to Cactus Creek quite often and always take our out of town guests for dinner there. That place has to be the best kept secret in Reno, or the lines would be out the door” every time they opened! Everything on their menu has proven to be superb, the staff is friendly, thoughtful and courteous, the service is great and when they say aged prime beef they aren’t kidding!!! Any one who wants a special treat should make it a point to visit the Cactus Creek!!"
