"I was pleasantly surprised by Joonas as I only recently heard of it and it's subterranean. The atmosphere was awesome, with a constellation of lights on the ceiling and dimly lit theater for a cast full of interesting flavors. Everyone around us recommended the tuna tostada, so we got this, and it did not disappoint. Equally excellent was the hamachi tiraditio, where they used yellowtail belly which was impressive. Next up, the jamon serrano platter which was great but I wanted extra serrano no chorizo and instead they substituted salami. The cocktails are so fun, playful, and artistic. I started with a charcoal mezcal drink topped with gold flecks, and ended with my favorite a hot pink oscaso with hibiscus teaming with flavor. All in all, it was a great experience. And it didn't hurt that the cool atmosphere attracted a cool crowd, so we met some nice people and ran into some local friends. Thanks for the experience, Joonas!"
