"My new Fiancée and I were celebrating our engagement at the JW Marriott. Our whole stay was an amazing experience except for our dinner at Primo. We arrived at 8:30 for our reservation and were sat by the host. Nice quiet atmosphere. After our server introduced himself and brought water and the wine we ordered, he was non existent. We had to keep calling other staff members to help us take our orders, clean the table etc. Our appetizers were ordered with our server’s assistance (baby kale salad and arancini) made it to the table 45 minutes later by 9:15. Only one out of the 2 pizzas we ordered made it by 9:50 as the other one was overcooked and we had to cancel it. Our server again was careless until the host sat a party of about 15 people next to us where he appeared for the second time the whole night. Our reservation was made by the hotel concierge who made a note that it was our engagement but no one seemed to care. For a recommended restaurany by the “michelin guide”, the food was rather OK, but this was a very disappointing and even frustrating experience considering the high level of service at the hotel and the occasion we were celebrating. I did not want to make a big deal out of it at the spot as my fiancée and I were trying to enjoy and celebrate but I really hope the service at the restaurant improves."

"Visiting Daytona for the night and popped into martinis for a late dinner. The rose bubbly martini was my favorite. Filet mignon was on point. Our server Raven was awesome!! Super friendly and quick. We didn't sit outside but will def be back for drinks outside! Their patio is otherworldly. So cool."

"Absolutely loved our brunch experience at The Charles! The food was delicious, fast and fresh! Highly recommend the French toast sticks, chicken waffles and steak eggs. Monique provided exceptional customer service as well! She was very welcoming, patient and knowledgeable about the menu. Will definitely be returning"

"Der Bacon Burger: geschmacklich gut - im Fleisch teilweise kleine Knorpelstückchen, große Portion Pommes - dazu Cole Slaw...Hausgemacht? - eher nicht, aber auch geschmacklich gut. Der California Chicken Salat: gute Portion, viel Eisbergsalat, dazu Mais, Kidneybohnen, etc. dazu 3 Scheiben Tomaten und Salatgurke. Hätte mehr Spaß gemacht, wenn verschiedene Blattsalate die Menge Eisberg kompensieren würde. Insgesamt - Preis und Leistung stimmen - Service war freundlich und flott."

"Don’t think I could ever come back to this location. While the food was okay, I paid $4 extra for Banza pizza crust which they ended up saying they didn’t have. Said they couldn’t give me a refund and did nothing else to make it right. As well as toppings missing from the pizza as well. I had to pay for each topping so all said and done I paid $27 for what was actually a $20 pizza. Super super disappointing. One person spoke English and while she was nice she also didn’t do anything to make it right or get someone that could. I came to this location a couple years ago and it was really good and good service but now it’s honestly horrible and I felt completely ripped off. Never again will this location get my business especially after being told they couldn’t refund me any amount but also didn’t have what I paid for. Horrible service, doesn’t care about customer."
