"We were on our way to a museum in Sydney and decided to grab a quick bite nearby before going in. We saw this little hole-in-the-wall and decided to give it a try. We ordered a couple of breakfast sandwiches I asked for a few changes to the way they normally prepare them and they gladly obliged.We asked them to substitute a croissant for the standard roll they usually use and that turned to to be a great choice. When heated on pannini press, the croissant was perfectly toasted and our breakfast sandwiches were absolutely delicious. In addition, the staff was very engaging and welcoming. And the prepared food on display in the case looked fabulous.The restaurant is more geared to takeaway, but there is seating for about 8 people. I couldn't recommend it more highly as a place for quick, delicious and reasonably priced food."

"I go here all the time and absolutely love this bakery. Almond croissant all day every day. Sometimes they don't stuff it as much with the delicious almond paste as other days, probably depends on who the baker is. But most of the time this croissant is the stuff made of dreams. I've only bought the bread a few times but each time the crust was so thick and satisfying, with a doughy and soft middle that practically melts in your mouth. So good"

"MEC is a Portland staple. It is one of those spots that you take anyone who is in town visiting. Every time we've gone it has been a delicious experience. Missed writing on our visit back in the summer, so I am doubling up... Due to COVID you are only allowed to dine in with proof of vaccine. Back in the summer they had a nice outdoor seating area. They have 5 main sections to their menu; Salads, Mezza, Roasted, Grilled, and Tosafot. They have their staples within each section, but rotate a few dishes within each depending on the season. They are ALWAYS delicious. It is a great restaurant to pick a number of plates to share with the table. We've had a few iterations of their hummus, including their new fried brussel sprouts pomegranate. We recommend their Hummus Abu Hassan hands down the best hummus we've ever had! So silky and delicious; paired with homemade pita that keeps you coming back for more! We've had the Baked Feta Peaches, Roasted Carrots, Lamb Kebab, Cod, Bureka, and Confit Chicken Leg. We've never been disappointed and enjoy trying new dishes. On our recent trip we tried their homemade Ginger Soda which was so good! Every time we've gone, we've been delighted with service. Our servers have been knowledgeable, kind and friendly. We highly recommend checking it out for a great date night!"
