"Until a few years ago my wife and I have been here more often, but for health reasons this is unfortunately (almost not possible anymore and we have therefore used the delivery service in recent years. Unfortunately, this Taverna Hellas has gradually left behind in recent years as regards the quality of food. This restaurant, as well as 80 90% of the rest of D's gastronomy, is obviously increasingly relying on prefabricated industrial food from large companies such as Metro Konarten. In particular, the very expensive cold or warm appetizer plates now consist almost or completely only of canned fraß, which becomes increasingly low quality. There is nothing more self-made or home-made and comes only from cans, glasses, bags, canisters, TK chest etc., which unfortunately you also taste when you still know the previous quality of 10, 15 years ago. Too bad. The amiente in the restaurant itself is of course typical Greek, as it would be expected as a tour. There is also a separate smoker area with 6 (or 8? tables for 4 people each. The staff is very nice and often or i.d. there is also an ouzo on the house after dinner."

"We went to this restaurant after reading the grip advisor review. Firstly quality, the food was excellent, well cooked and extremely tasty. Secondly, portions, normally when you eat at a restaurant with great food you end up with miserly portions, not here, I had trouble...finishing! Lastly, service, it was excellent. The staff were attentive and friendly. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to my best friend"

"Wir sind hier seit über 10 Jahren Stammkunde. Nach dem Umbau nach einem Wasserschaden hat sich das Ambiente nochmal verbessert, an den Speisen und am herzlichen Service gab es noch nie was zu meckern. Da das viele wissen und schätzen, sollte man am Wochenende möglichst einen Tisch reservieren, sonst muß man warten, bis ein Tisch wieder frei wird. Hier kann man sich für ein paar Stunden fühlen, als wäre man im Urlaub !! TOP!!"

"Joooooooaaa would best express my opinion on this restaurant. I can't really comprehend the strongly negative appreciations, as the foods have a good price-performance ratio. However, the food didn't blow me off the stool, as you say. I was here two times before, once it was quite delicious and once average. The service is always quite friendly and works quickly. However, neither the music (a little Greek music could not harm), nor the air that is unfortunately somewhat worse by the many smokers fits into a successful evening. In addition, as has often been mentioned here, the wine card is a little small, but I always like to go here in the early evening, where not so much is left."

"We headed straight for the Samos Restaurant on the first evening after checking into our hotel, as it was essentially just next door. We could not have been happier. The flavours, the dishes, the friendliness of the staff and especially the unfailing ouzo shots in between dishes, all contrived and managed to transport us magically to Greece itself. Over our short, three day stay in Berlin, we made a point of squeezing in at least another visit. Well done, Samos!"

"Since 1.1.2020 there is a new administration of taverna. the previous operator family had to give up at the end of 2019 for private and health reasons. the new management took over the menu and the cook so that eating did not change much: tasty and sufficient. the prices are in the rule between 10 and 20 €. the restaurant has 2 Greek dining rooms and a summer terrace, partly covered. the device was largely taken over. only the Greek-white-blue-cartated tablecloths (which somehow always reminded me of the NVA bed linen) were exchanged for identically patterned in white-green. Unfortunately, the new operator does not have much time to earn money: corona came from China to europa and Germany – they are known: weeks of enticing with the entire gastronomy. After the im-house nomination had been cancelled, the normal card was returned with changed opening times: now the whole week is open from 12 to 23 clock. the quality and the amount of eating the Greek cuisine is still very good too good. which has suffered in my eyes but is a bit the pleasant atmosphere. it was almost familiar friendly among previous operators, now it is quite cool business. update: next to the standard card there are also always day offers. on 11.11.2021 for example fresh grilled dorade with grilled vegetables. for someone who doesn't like to submit whole fish in the restaurant himself, this activity takes on request a service performance. has tasted well, but at 23,50 €uro was not a very good fun, especially since a saturation supplement was not intended for this fish dish."
