"My favourite cafe in Maroubra. Excellent food and coffee and as a barista I'm impressed that the machine is all manual (as it should be). For those who are determined to ruin great coffee with decaf, soy, vanilla syrup ect , Chalk has a generous no-charge policy for all of your ridiculous add-ons. Lovely Mexican decor and service, will continue to be a favourite!"

"Called in for breakfast before checking out of our nearby hotel. Lovely location and friendly staff. The service was exceptionally fast. My husband and I both ordered bacon and eggs which were delicious. I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for somewhere to go."

Toast (a decent sized serve) and a large coffee for $7 is pretty hard to beat.<br>

Have had to revise this down from a 4 to a 2.5. <br>

Recently changed ownership and the new baristas are less than capable unfortunately. The $7 coffee and toast deal is still in place but the coffee is pretty awful. Shame."

"World Square is packed with nice Asian restaurants so I didn't expect to find a nice cafe, but I was pleasantly surprised. Nothing fancy on the menu but they use fresh ingredients and it's cooked to perfection. If you're at World Square area and looking for a nice brunch cafe, Gazzi is your place. I give this place 4 bears"
