"Ended up at Rydges Southbank Grill after most of the desirable restaurants were fully booked (a Saturday night). Partner had very best spareribs we have come across outside of the USA. He ordered half rack. Nice large meaty ribs with a few deep fried onion rings (not health food). I had a pumpkin & feta salad. Quite nice - not exciting but good if not wanting a huge feed. Only downside was $8 for a side dish, so partner had only the ribs. Would definitely go back again for the ribs."

"Love the joint. Take away coffee is sometimes burnt, but table service has one of the best brews in Townsville. Nice decor but a bit of music wouldn't hurt. Still, my favourite cafe in town. Love it"

"I ordered a combination yiros (not there on the menu but the host was happy to mix the meats) accompanied by a huge serve of chips and a drink. Tastewise the dish was great although its a bit on the pricey side. Kudos to the host customer service was definitely the best aspect of the dine in experience."
