"Fabulous food, fantastic service and lovely setting - we had dinner and sat outside which was lovely. Our service was impeccable and I would return here in a heartbeat. We had the prawns in a sauce that was to die for. Very friendly and helpful staff. You will not be disappointed!"

"Have been coming to Aera since I was a student and still love it. It's nothing fancy but it does exactly what it says on the can and always hits the spot. With eating and drinking getting more and more expensive in the 1st district (with these cost increases not necessarily being matched by improvements in quality), Aera continues to offer good value with a relaxed atmosphere for all age groups.The menu offers a range of drinks and food, from classic Wiener schnitzel to stuffed pancakes and antipasti. Prices are very reasonable, portions are generous and the food is fresh and of good quality. A practical solution for groups who can't decide on what type of food they want to eat. Vegetarians have plenty of options to choose from.Last time I was there, I took the Italian antipasti platter, which was the best antipasti I have had anywhere in Vienna - or anywhere at all, for that matter. A huge serving of mozzarella, feta cheese, prosciutto, grilled veg (the roasted red peppers were truly delicious) and olives - served with more pizza bread than I could eat.The warehouse-style interior has a shambolic sort of charm (toilets can be described as "grunge", but are still acceptable), and is even cosy in the winter, thanks to the enormous industrial radiators under the windows. There is an attractive deck outside in summer.A thoroughly likeable place."

"Love the decor of this restaurant. It’s a very short walk from Hundertwasserhaus. The food is delicious. They have so many options for vegans too. Staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. Like with most Mexican food the portions are quite large!"

"Very good hotel for a fair price (dz 57,- € without breakfast;) probably not the normal price, but a note on what is reasonably possible.The rooms are well equipped. a tw that doesn't just have monitor size. good, wide bed (160cm) without medium pine pity that a water cooker or a coffee machine is missing. who is not important gets a nice room.Love very nice to the city (15-20 minutes to foot.)"

"Wir waren hier zu zweit. Wir wurden herzlich willkommen geheißen mit handschütteln sogar und die Bedienung war nett. Wir haben eine kleine Flasche Ouzo 200 ml und eine Vorspeisenplatte für zwei bestellt. Die Vorspeisen waren teilweise tiefgefroren oder aus der Dose. Manches davon war nicht frisch und manches einfach nicht genießbar. Dabei spielte Musik von der untersten Schublade... Das ginge alles gerade noch aber die Überraschung wartete in der Rechnung. An die 40 Euro!!! Das Fläschen Ouzo, was übrigens in der Speisekarte nicht zu finden war, kostete stolze 17.50... Ich dachte, das könnte nur ein Fehler gewesen sein aber nein, das war wirklich der Preis davon... Der Eigentümer hat sich noch erkundigt ob alles in Ordnung gewesen wäre... Ich war zu aufgeregt um meine Enttäuschung zu schildern. "Ja, passt und wiedersehen..." war meine Antwort und sobald wir auf der Strasse waren, "...nie wieder im Leben." Ich motze nie, aber das war wirklich das allerletzte. Ich befürchte, die Leute wissen gar nicht, was für einen Mist, sie dort auftischen, kulinarisch, musikalisch und überhaupt... Wenn ich mir denke, dass man unter griechisch essen so was versteht... Schade..."

"Went to the Naschmarkt to see what was there. Stumbled across Baschly. Guy was friendly and helpful. Had the "everything on a plate" and a couple of wraps. The food was delicious and we were stuffed by the time we had finished. Worth passing the posh places to get to the "street" food."
