"Went here for Father's Day with my family for the first time. The staff was very friendly and helped us pick a few items. The warm bread and oil and cheese dip was delicious. Finally decent bread in Florida. We started with an order of fried calamari. It was light and crisp with a sprinkle of black pepper. Very fresh and maybe the best dish we had for the evening. The marinara dipping sauce was very good and served properly hot too. My wife had the fish special. A very thick and tender Chillean Sea Bass over a bed of risotto. The fish was excellent but the Risotto was way too salty making it difficult to eat. My son had the Penne A la vodka and he added shrimp. It tasted good, but the penne was over cooked and the sauce was a bit too wet. We prefer Al dente. The 5 shrimp were large and tender. I had the filet tips Pipino which included a large sausage. The beef was tender but half was way too rare for me. Rather than send it back, I opted to have it go as I was full in any case. This dish was rough for me as it was very spicey which I should have read the description, so I can't fault the preparation. The sausage was not to my liking either. Not a dish I would get again. We finished off with two desserts, a slice of Tirumisu that tasted OK but was frozen in the middle, so not sure if made there. The cannolis, served three on a dish were thick crisp shelled and filled fresh, but the creame had little flavor and not what we expected given the owners NY background. It made us miss what we can get in Little Italy in NY. My wife's cappacino was very good as was the unsweetened iced tea, served bottomless. Overall a nice dinner, with live piano player near the waterfront in Cocoa Village. For the price, we have had better in NY, but above average for Florida. We will give them another try and hopefully get more consistency with our choices. Overall 3.5 stars if that was a choice based on our choices."

"During the stay at the Hilton Hotel, I was recommended to order in Essen as the hotel had no restaurant... several things went bad... the initial phone operator stayed in the middle and directed me to another... Don't you know why this happened? Maybe the first lady didn't like my voice? When the order arrived, the young man took it to himself to drop my order at the reception? If I wanted to go to the reception, could I have jumped in a Uber and went to another restaurant? Finally, the Alfredo should have mixed chickens or shrimps? Well, you guessed!! I was surprised that there were noodles mixed because the shrimps were gone! I could have complained? But you know the rumors about a degrunted employee? I'm sorry, I... I'll explain it on learning about this lousy place? I would like to speak privately with the manager"

"Incredible service, amazing food!! The pan seared grouper over coconut, pumpkin rissoto with a cucumber red pepper slaw with spicy lemon butter sauce was awesome!! Highly recommended!! Wonderful ambiance and the wait for our food was short. Sampled the jumbo shrimp with crab stuffing and the special entree of the day, the lamb chops. Both were fantastic!!"
