"Not Just Pizza!<br/>Second time diner at Pizza Religion , but first time at Armadale. Overall experience......VG.<br/>I guess the one thing that stood out for us apart from the diversity was the quality and freshness of the ingredients. Anyone can make pizza, not necessarily good pizza, but none the less, pizza. Not everyone can make a pizza that's mind refreshingly different from the norm and pull it off with the balance that Pizza Religion can. As I said the ingredients are the heroes here as they smack of flavour, quality and are a bit outside the expected.<br/>Apart from pizza the starters and salads were good. Try and stop at one Savoy Cabbage Salad with a few people!!!! The Pumpkin Aranccini special was delightful, full of flavour and moist. The lamb ribs had a great flavour , but too fatty for my liking, especially after 12 hours of cooking. My guess is the temp was so low when cooked that slow that the fat could not render.<br/>Pizzas... Firstly I must say that I am a lover of the 400+ degrees C , Neapolitan fluffy type base and not as thin and crispy as these, but to be fair the base was great for a change and seasoned well. Also quite light.<br/>Margherita and Pepperoni were great, so were the Potato and Capricciosa. Not everyone's a fan of anchovies on pizza, but the anchovies on their Capricciosa were the real deal. Fresh, whole and untampered. This sort of attention to detail is what makes Pizza Religion stand out from some of the others and helps add to their uniqueness. There is certainly a point of difference.<br/>Desert...Flourless Chocolate Pudding also VG.<br/>The fit out has been very well done and the place offers a few different types of seating from a more private or family area at the back to a casual bar, table and stool front section. All work well to offer variety.<br/>Service was good, a little slow and forgetful at times, but very friendly and courteous. All the staff seemed to work in well together as a team, as there were quite a few rotating on and off.<br/>Overall...VG."
