"We had the best dinner here at 1888 Chop House. It was our last day in Banff and we treated ourselves. The restaurant is very cozy and modern inside. All decor was beautiful! Our server greeted us with a choice to start with champagne and introduced us to the menu. Our server, Nicholas was so helpful and excited to show us everything they had to offer. We ended up ordering the bread and butter which of course was amazing, then we shared the pork and scallops appetizer. Lastly for our main we got the 14oz NY Strip which we split and added the Quebec blue cheese on top which I highly would recommend. We had the ice cream sundae and some amazing esprit martinis to end and it was just an amazing experience!! They even gave us a gift at the end because of our engagement earlier in the trip canât wait to come back!"

"We were staying at the Juniper Hotel, in room 110 the bistro is literally right outside our outdoor patio. It's open for breakfast/brunch then closes and reopens for dinner. It is definitely a must go for food and ambiance! First of all, the view is unmatched. Especially for dinner when the sun is setting. So beautiful. Amy, our server, could have hands down been the best server we've ever encountered. She checked on us in the right times and had a funny story to tell us every time she came by. She was hilarious and full of local knowledge. The food was exceptional. Everything is organic and grown nearby. And it really does come out in the food. The chef even came out and asked if everything was ok. The food was so good! If you're in banff and aren't staying at the Juniper, still come and eat here. You won't regret it!"

"We enjoyed a nice dinner here. A small selection of wines, but we did. Truffles to start. I loved my Chicken Parmigiano and my wife enjoyed the lobster Risotto. The staff was great and the place was very clean. It's 8nside a hotel."

"We arrived about 20 minutes before breakfast stopped being served and Bruce our server was simply delightful. The belgian waffles my husband ordered with prepared just right and my Traditional Breakfast was enormous with perfect bacon, crispy potatoes and delicious baked beans. We only ate the one breakfast here, but we really enjoyed that meal."
