"My children and I sat at the bar that surrounds the exposed kitchen. All of the staff and food were great except for the kitchen manager. He was rude and disrespectful to the hispanic cooking staff to the point that I had to say something. I am not hispanic but this was just wrong. He then began yelling at me in front of my children stating that his job is very stressful. He made our meal very stressful and we will never go back. His staff should never be treated with such flagrant disrespect."

"Updated 1/9/17: This was my favorite restaurant since childhood. I was so happy there was one in Baton Rouge when I moved here in 1995. I 've had a tradition since I was 14 of going to Copeland 's on my birthday. In a few weeks I will celebrate my birthday there for the 26th year in a row and will keep up my tradition! I love everything but my favorite item is the Bayou Broccoli appetizer. Soooooo good. Been getting it for over 26 years. People say you don 't go to Copeland 's to get a burger, but I disagree since the Copeland burger is one of the best burgers around. It 's on a croissant with their signature tiger sauce which is awesome. I am sad that they changed the show string French fries to big fat fries though. The Catfish Acadiana with a side of red hots is another one of my favorites. But nothing is bad here. I did try the crab cake on zucchini 'pasta ' today which is a newer item. Flavor was excellent but the zucchini was cooked down a little too much so it did not look like pasta when I make it at home. It also wasn 't spiraled to look like spaghetti it was more like shredded. But the sauce was great. Service was always great, and then it went down for a few years, but it has improved 200% in the last year or two (new management maybe? . They are undergoing renovations now so I 'm curious to see how it will turn out."

"Food and service were good. We went for brunch on Sunday and I was happy to see that in addition to the brunch menu, the full menu was available. My only complaint is that the noise level is high. We were a table of six and you couldn't talk with people on the opposite end of the table because the noise was so loud."

"A small venue big on flavor, style and service. I sat at the bar and enjoyed the ahi salad, and outstanding Bombay Sapphire martini and good conversation with the bartender. <br/ <br/ The restaurant and bar were quite and dim much to my liking<br/ <br/ The ahi salad had a fusion dressing/sauce/marinade I could not identify, but enjoyed thoroughly. <br/ <br/ I have found my new hand-out in Baton Rouge."

"We go once a year to ruths to celebrate our jubilee (and also the graduation ceremony of my wife to this occasion) and everything was excellent. steaks were perfectly cooked, delicious sides, big wine (small price) and our waiter evan was excellent. can't wait to go back!"

"On the other day the people joined fleming for our jubilee. we had other plans, so we ate at the early side. the staff (kitchen and in front of the house) delivered via the board. we sat immediately (at our reservation time) had drinks in no time. eating was as we ordered it and the waiting staff knew our names and used it, but not about the use. the next day my wife noticed that flemings should really be our go-to location for special occasions. I couldn't agree anymore."
