"I went in front of my friend, the card didn't leave us indifferent. So we booked it. sober and warm. I took a menu at €29. entrance medaillon de volail au boudin pour me and sot letting it purée de weight et chorizo pour Madame. beautiful presentation in the plate. The taste is there. It's rather hearty (I'm still greedy and I eat well) duck fillet dishes. still beautiful presentation, cooking the well-controlled duck. melting and quality meat. mix with chorizo of rotation and soft and warm and cold interesting tastefully. for dessert (my friend being shaved stopped there) I got tempted by a strawberry tin. fresh and light almond biscuit air. Ideal to finish. We took the time to speak with the manager who is pleasant. A nice evening. a kitchen (and I made tables) rather semi-gastro. a price (from the island of france) rather correct. I admit I don't understand some amazing comments that it's fade or that it's bistro cuisine. It's about that it doesn't swim in the sauce, it's the real tastes of food. and the bistro kitchen is far away. So I'm advising him."

"Had a very pleasant dinner for two. The food was really good and there was nothing that disappointed. Very nice pleasant and welcoming staff. This restaurant is an oasis just around the corner from Caen's busy eating destination area. It is we'll worth the visit."

"We came to one of the better known restaurants for dinner and it was fully booked. they proposed to try le piano de vin and we owe you. eating was great, the menu is relatiw short and contains most. the local classic made to perfection. the owner told us that we must be patient, how everything is done to order, and it took a little longer than usual, but was worth waiting, we had eier kocotte with foie gras, entrecotte and a bark flank in mushroom cream all in “classic” fashion and all very well prepared. service was attentive and efficient. the location is beautiful and it looks like an old wine shop with labels from many of the French wine regions (many available) were friends for diner. prices are very moderate in terms of quality."
