"This may have gotten a higher rating but the service was very rushed. It took forever for them to take our drink orders and meal orders. Then the chef rushed to cook our food and after about 15 min we were brought our bills and to go containers. We weren't even done eating . Wont be going their again."

"Service is great and restaurant is posh inside but food is not worth the money. They don't know how to cook a steak right. This isn't the first nice steakhouse where I've sent a steak back for being improperly cooked. My steak came pretty much burnt on the outside and it had some very rare parts on the inside. I had them put it back on the grill and when they brought it back it was okay on the inside but really burnt on the outside. My steak cost me $99 btw. What a disappointment. Also it was sort of dry and not as soft as I usually expect from prime steak. Certainly nothing like I make at home. You gotta keep basting that steak with melted garlic thyme butter and cover it up with something while it's cooking so the steam keeps it moist. Also reduce heat after searing so that it doesn't dry out...very important. Charcuterie board was poor....looked like a prepackaged one from a grocery store. Trust me I've had some amazing Charcuterie boards. They usually come with french bread or bruschetta and not pita and they usually come with fig jelly not honey and they usually have a better selection of meats and cheeses. Salad was average.... not what I would expect from a restaurant like this. Honestly there wasn't a single thing at this restaurant that I haven't had a better version of for less than half the price. If you have this kind of money to spend go to Refectory or Barcelona."

"Honestly, Lindey’s hasn’t been good for years since about 2018. I had sent in a few complaints, as well as many others I know (and never received any response), because the quality of both food and service slipped majorly. We stopped going even though Lindey’s has always been our go to and favorite restaurant. However, yesterday everything was completely different! The service was amazing attentive but not overbearing, and the food was outstanding. Hot, fresh, seasoned, and great portions. Lindey’s is back, y’all! I’m excited. My only criticism would be that the drinks have always been majority mixer, which is a bummer considering they’re expensive."

"Very disappointed in our service. Bentley, our server, never checked to see if our food was suitable. I had asked for the char to be cooked through- as he was clearing the plate, I told him the last 2 inches were raw, which I did not eat. He immediately defended himself, saying he asked the chef to cook it through- if he had asked me 15 minutes earlier about my meal, I would have had him take the fish back and cook it through. But it was too late as everyone in our party was done."
