"We visited Taste on the first night of our week staying in St Agnes. We all enjoyed courses (fish cakes, arancini, fish platter, followed by pheasant, steak and venison, finished off with Baileys brownie sundaes). The food is beautifully presented, cooked to perfection and...served by warm and friendly staff. A perfect way to start our holiday thank you!"

"I’m reluctant to do this review as I’m not sure I want too many people to find out about this place, it might get too busy!? Forewarned about the cheese soufflé so had very high expectations…it was as good as they said! My bass main course was even better, a wonderful plate of interesting tastes put together with much attention to detail the fish cooked to perfection, Ben clearly knows how to cook food simply one of my most favourite plates of fish in a long while. Beautiful yet subtle personable service throughout and made to feel very ‘warmly’ welcome. Left here with a feeling like we had just experienced something a bit special…but we weren’t anywhere near the south east of England, we were just outside our home town of Truro!! : Thank you."

"What a lovely place. We walked in on the off-chance tired and hungry in need of a pint and some nice food. We certainly were not disappointed. They were very busy and short staffed, but that did not stop the quality of service or the food, which came out of the kitchen absolutely piping hot, they even made time to chat and give the dog a biscuit. Somebody earlier said that the portions were small, not on our watch they weren't. Certainly recommend and would give six stars if I could."

"Stunning views and a nice place to go for something special, food tasted great and the service was fantastic relaxed but attentive. The only issue is the portion sizes are small and we left feeling hungry which was a shame as the food tasted fantastic"

"Really good food, friendly service. had calamari for beginners, not too much battery and was beautifully spiced. haddock filet from the special menu was also good, really fresh. the sea bass was also delicious, really nicely cooked. restaurant had a nice atmosphere. great for families and couples."

"Visiting with the family including a very energetic 2 year old, we had a an excellent lunch in pleasant comfortable surroundings. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The menu was limited, but all selections were adequate, and well cooked. The surprise was the bill very good value even better for the youngster for whom it was free."
