"Our first time a since we were celebrating a birthday meant it needed to be extra special an indeed it was. I wanted nothing but the best! And that’s exactly what we got. The restaurant and staff was every bit of amazing and they catered to us like no other. Delicious food! Top shelf drinks and outstanding service. I’m so glad it was our first choice. This restaurant is truly exquisite!"

"The Whitney is a part of Detroit’s history, this is definitely a must see. The staff is extremely accommodating and efficient at what they do. The hidden gem is the ghost bar in the third floor, they serve drinks and desserts. They have specialty drinks such as the Witching Hour, expresso martini’s, and Tony’s specialty drink. The Whitney is so enjoyable for every occasion!!!"

"Ordered calamari for appetizer and it wasn't what I expected. It seemed more like a frozen boxed version. The Pickerel and spaghetti side along with the spinach and garlic was very good. The spinach was fresh. Our server Dante was friendly and attentive."

"The food was excellent!!! Anyway, come back. It was my birthday dinner. I order the oyster racket as an appetizer not know, automatically an antipasto as an appetizer also the salad and minenstrone soup was great. The seafood I order and my husband ordered lamb chops for Dessert tiramisu and we saw live entertainment very romantic."

"The waitress never checked on us after she took our orders. 3 of our party of 5 wanted more drinks but we waited a very long time before we had a return visit to ask. 2 of our party had food delivered cold after we waited 45 minutes for it, and the food the rest of us had was only ok, certainly not worth the $29 we paid for it each. The french onion soup was tasteless. The house added a 20% gratuity that we reduced to 15% which was generous given the service we had. An $18 burger is the most popular item on the menu which doesn’t surprise me since the rest of the menu items are over-priced and based on our experience not worth the cost. The ambience was the best part but we won’t go back and don’t recommend."

"The restaurant was conveniently located for us and the menu looked good. When we arrived they had no means of checking a reservation and didn't have a table ready for us. It took about 15 minutes for anyone to greet our table at all, so we were able to already decide on our dinner by the first time a server talked to us. It then took another 25-30 minutes for our dinner to arrive. We had a Caesar salad, sliders, and lobster mac and cheese and I wouldn't order any of it again. The beer was good and it seemed like a fun place. There was live music that was really good, but the whole place was so loud it was impossible to have a conversation."

"Food was great! Didn’t care for the matcha drink and I’m a huge matcha lover. Our waiter was great but felt rushed by one the bus boys who would come to clear our plates. The tomahawk steak was very good so I would go back for that."
