The menu of the day is set at a reasonable price compared with the quality of the food offered. Excellent choices...of French garage and unknown wines. "Good food!We got the suggested surprise menu with 3 courses.The first course was a salad with grilled chicken liver, the second was fish with a garlic cream and cooked vegetables and the dessert was a very nice rhubarb pudding.The service is good and friendly!"

"We only heard of this restaurant a short while ago and it's within walking distance from our home. It's speciality was the popular filet de Perche with French Fries. We decided to share a speciality crab dish which was good and our Perche was excellent....The restaurant is quite small so it would be sensible to make a reservation. There is an attractive terrace."

"Dined at le Jardin on a Saturday evening, the restaurant was fully booked. We chose the menu with truffles, 4 course of pure delight. Each course was very well presented and with great flavor. The wine we chose was a local Swiss red that complimented the dishes perfectly. They have valet parking, which is necessary, as it gets so busy and difficult to park anywhere close to the hotel. The only down side was the waiting time for drink, to be served, etc..possibly short staffed as there was only 2 waiters (Saturday night!). Apart from that, it was an excellent evening with some truly flavorsome dishes. Not cheap 300 CHF for 2 incl. wine."

"In the city area. You can take public transport, or drive, as there is car parking nearby. Steak was not bad, but size could be better. good starters, and a reasonable dessert menu selection. Expect to pay Geneva prices. Service was average, as I asked for Mustard twice, but alas, it did not arrive!!"

"I had the pleasure of dining at the Windows Restaurant at Hotel d'Angleterre on September 18, and it was a truly delightful experience. We celebrated my wife's birthday, and the entire evening was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. The atmosphere was elegant, and the service was impeccable. As for the food, it exceeded our expectations. Every dish we ordered was expertly prepared, but the sole fish was an absolute standout. Its flavor and presentation were both remarkable. It was a meal that we'll fondly remember."

"We had a delightful dinner with fine service and ambiance. Their specialty is is coquelet (a small individual size chicken) that is cooked perfectly on a rotisserie and served with frite. This is the kind of simple but delicious fare we were craving on a...cool evening. The other dishes also get top marks, but if I go again (which I will if I am again in Geneva) I doubt if I will be able to resist ordering the chicken."

"We had a great dinner at chez philippe. we started with the thun-fish tars and the cattle heart tomato gazpacho. both were excellent versions of what they are. the use of crispy schalottes on the thunfischtar was kreatiw and added an additional textural component. our main thing we had the Swiss beef-tenderoin and the aged Swiss beef from the alps. both were delicious. large meat cuts, perfectly cooked and seasoned. we shared the green pfeffer sauce, which was also delicious. for the side we shared the roasted grenailles kartoffeln and the filled of baked wobble. again very impressed by both. the kartoffels were cheeky and crispy, all they want to be. the wobbles was very creatiw served and tasted very good. the room of the restaurant is really cool. the restaurant seems to be in a covered passage, but they go up into the dining room and it is actually open air, over the passage. very creative use of space and beautiful dining room. very recommended to eat here!"
