"Just stopped in on our way back to Ontario for lunch. What an absolutely charming establishment! We ate lunch on the terasse (patio), and started off with two Bloody Caesar’s which were well made. The shrimp cocktail appetizer was delicious (big fat shrimp and homemade cocktail sauce) as was the tomato bocconcini salad. I ordered the fish chips for a main and my husband ordered the butterfly shrimp plate. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The batter on my fish was the best I’ve ever had, so light with the perfect crispness, with homemade tartar sauce and the fries are definitely cut in-house too. My husbands butterfly shrimp were cooked to perfection. Sitting in that garden-style patio on a beautiful day had us feeling like we were somewhere on a romantic vacation. Keep doing what you’re doing Mon Village! We’ll be back!"

"Hostess issue in seating we arrived with a handicapped person and we were walked to the end of building. We had a reservation and requested seating near the fireplace instead the employee walked my seriously handicapped friend to the end of the room. I was parking the car. When I came in we got moved. I feel like the hostess/waitress should have been more intuitive to my friends' needs."

"Absolutely terrible service, food is meh but the service given is appalling. I do not understand how they are still in business. Placed an order at 6:30 pm for delivery, called an hour later and they said the driver had left 10 min ago. Called them again at 8:32 pm and they said that the driver was on his way, nothing else, not a sorry, absolutely nothing. Delivery person showed up at 8:40 pm, 2:10 after the order was placed, he was extremely rude and condescending, again not a sorry, nothing. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone unless you want to wait over 2 hours for mediocre food and horrible service.Edited to add: he replied the wait wasn’t 2 hours, here is the call log to prove it."

"Let’s get one thing out of the way- the food is always wonderful. The 2 stars refers to the customer service. Dirty looks from the staff and not to mention how hot they keep the temperature. On a 94 degree weather and the AC doesn’t get turned on much?"
