"Well where do I start? I am on holiday with my family and wanted to have an authentic French meal out once during our stay. We saw this restaurant on our first night and read great reviews on TripAdvisor so thought it would be great...to come here for one special meal whilst we are here. I am so disappointed. The menu is fairly sparse (which is fine as I thought that would add to the quality of the meals on offfer). Only choices for my kids. When the food arrived only meals came out and we waited minutes before my daughters meal arrived and even then we had to ask twice. I ordered duck and my husband entrecote. Both meals were ok but the legumes that they came with was basically iceberg lettuce and red onion. I dont mean to sound a snob but when a meal comes with vegetables I would have thought something better than a Wetherspoon salad garnish would arrive. Maybe it's just me but when you're paying euros for a meal in the number restaurant in marseillan plage then you would expect something a little more refined than this. They also sent the wrong sauce with my meal and that had to be returned. Staff lovely but very disappointed."

"L'un des meilleurs restaurants de marseillan plage selon nous. Accueil très convivial. Les plats sont très bons et ont un bon rapport qualité/prix. Le menu a 13.80€ est copieux et varié. Nous y avons été plusieurs fois lors de notre séjour et nous y retournerons à coup sûr.Nous avons goûtés :- gambas sauce cognac / persillade- filet de loup- salade chèvre chaud / camembert - pennes st jacques / saumon- entrecôte - lasagne- moules au roquefort - pizza- soupe de poisson(Nous étions une tablée de 10)"

"2 top waitress, helpful, smiling, who master their craft well. Nice setting along the port. Excellent food with fresh products that becomes rare in the restaurant, and above all, we are left to eat without shaking us. Here we love the client. Bravo the cook and the staff!"

"In January in Marseillan, many restaurants are closed for annual hols. Our group of 8 reserved La Luna for a special birthday. Upon arrival we were greeted with the news that they had no fish, the special of the day was sold out, as were at least two of the pasta dishes. It didn't leave us with much choice. Perhaps we should have walked, but that's the wisdom of hindsight. An hour after we placed our orders from the ever-shrinking selection, a waitress came to inform us that there were only two portions of the nem starters left, would two people mind changing their orders? Did it really take an hour to figure this out? As we'd been sitting at an empty table, they finally brought out some bread and two small bowls of pretzels. When the main courses arrived, the waitress brought 3 orders of smoked salmon pizza when we had ordered pasta. They were going to redo them, but alas there was no more smoked salmon. The people who ordered bavette didn't get it cooked as they'd asked, or it came with the wrong accompaniment. There was barely a hint of apology. They did knock the price off three of the meals, as well they should when three of our party didn't even get a main course after sitting there for over two hours! We left before pudding, totally fed up. It was a catalog of errors from the start, and what food we did receive was unremarkable. I hate to leave a rant as a review, but if I can spare someone else this experience, it's done the job. The poor birthday boy, what a disappointment."
