"My wife and I finally got around to trying out Forbes Grill (the old Marie calendars). Our overall impression was holy S was this place expensive! With tip, it was just under $160, and this is no Sardine Factory, which is a restaurant which actually could command such a price. We had a bruschetta appetizer which was actually very good (A) and then my wife had a salad and I had the New England clam chowder soup (a special of the day) which were both very good (A A). For the main course, my wife had a Merry's chicken dish which was also very good (A) but a very small portion size. I had a $50 New York strip (it's amazing how expensive steaks have become in the last few years) and this was a big disappointment. I can honestly say I've had better from the local supermarket. It was well cooked but way under seasoned (I had to add salt) and the sauce (a glaze of some kind) was blah. Furthermore, it was very grainy and tough tasting. Definitely disappointment. Except for a glass of wine for my wife and a Shirley Temple for me, that was it. No dessert. $160! Morgan Hill is just getting out of control with these prices. So we won't be back to this place because, although it was good, it was not that good to command such a outrageous prices. We could have easily went into San Jose and paid half this amount for a meal just as good, if not better."

"THE best restaurant in Morgan Hill by far. If you?re from this miserable town you?re well aware the lack of quality places to eat?but this place stands on a league of its own! Truly some of the best sushi I have had in the Bay Area. I had the ?Shhhhh? roll and an assertion of sashimi which was incredible and the Tuna was very high quality as well. To top things off they also have authentic wasabi which is rare for sushi restaurants, definitely order some if you stop by. Abit on the pricey side, but hey thanks to Biden and Newsom for that one! And to Su, the person who gave 2 stars for a to go order?you are what?s wrong in this world. Do us all a favor and provide some ounce of benefit to society instead ofbashing on a BRAND NEW restaurant for a to go order?.you miserable creature. I bet your dog even hates you."
