"To remain an absolutely brilliant place. we try to make all 6 weeks a weekend break, as the pandemic restrictions are lifted. That was fantastic. personal amazing, so helpful and polite. shout after janet at the reception when we arrived. what a fantastic front of the ambassador. We had dinner and breakfast. a very high hygiene standard and cleanliness. I wouldn't have asked for anything. first class, even the note of the family owner in our room. we will definitely come back."

"We had lunch here last Friday. We hadn’t booked and were told there would be a wait of 30 minutes. We were fine with that and enjoyed our lunch so much we decided to actually book for today. We arrived exactly on time and were shown to our table. 15 minutes later, we were asked if we wanted drinks and were we ready to order. We’d had enough time to decide what we wanted and ordered. Two prawn and feta risottos, one seafood grill and one wild boar sausages. Half an hour later the starters arrived. The waiter did say sorry for the wait, It was delicious, two very large prawns that had to be peeled. When I mentioned a finger bowl would have been useful, the lady said she would mention it to the manager. An hour later, with no one apologising for the wait, our mains arrived. Again no finger bowl for the seafood, but again both meals were delicious. We did not want to wait again so declined any sweet or coffee. I understand if the place is short staffed, there will be a wait but to sit, unacknowledged for an hour, is unacceptable. We will not be returning. An hour later, with no one"
