"12 pieces of bread wings ordered and they were cold when they brought them out. I informed the server and she brought it back to the kitchen. Instead of making me a new wing, they decided to take the ones they brought me that were cold and they were to the point where they were boiled. Inadequate and absolutely unprofessional."

"Tent for Dad's 80. Birthday, reserved tab in front of the hand and could sit immediately. Food was excellent. Steak, lobster, salad, soups, appetizers. Small intimate restaurant. Felt like a proverb. The old Steak's house atmosphere. The waitress was helpful above the top. The cost was a little expensive, but we enjoyed it. I would go back and I recommend my friends and family"

"Located off 72nd & F in an area you would not really expect to find a steakhouse. Opened by Anthony Fucinaro, they are one of the old original Italian Steakhouses in Omaha and they've been serving it up for almost 50 years at this current location. I hear there's been some change in ownership in recent years,, but I'm not sure who owns and runs it these days.<br>

I stopped in for lunch and was disappointed to discover their lunch menu is fairly small and not a particularly great value either. I ordered the French Dip Sandwich off of their dinner menu for $12. It was just okay. Decent portion, but just sort of "meh" on flavor and texture.<br>

The wait staff didn't have that upscale steakhouse vibe to them. Instead, it was more of a truck stop diner vibe. They weren't particular great at their job, but think since they've been waiting tables for 30+ years that they have carte blanche. Mostly, I found it annoying.<br>

My parents used to eat here when I was a kid for various special occasions and us kids always had to stay at home with a sitter. So, I guess I had put it up on a pedestal which it just fell off of.<br>

If I feel like spending the money to eat at a steakhouse, then I guess Anthony's just isn't at the top of my list. I don't dislike the place, but it's just okay and it needs to be great at this price point serving this kind of cuisine. They need to lose the elderly vibe of the wait staff, clientèle, and menu or they're going to go out of business like almost every other Italian steakhouse in Omaha."

"The service staff was great. They really went the extra mile. I gave a 4 star for the food as my steak was good but not great. The oysters were wonderful! My grandson had the kid meal steak and it was delicious! This was my 4th time dinning there and I will go back."

"Lobster ravioli was a let down. Tasted like it was poured from a Costco premade frozen bag. Not that good for $26. Also, asked for my manhattan on the rocks. It came neat and waitress said sorry that it was made wrong as she was putting on the table. If she knew, why bring to table and ask if I am okay with mistake, just have bartender fix; especially at $12 a cocktail. Overall, we love the 801 Chophouse and it is our favorite chophouse in Omaha. They own Pig and Finch and we were excited to try. We were a little let down."
