"The staff were excellent considering the clientele they were putting up with, but the food was disgusting. Worst kfc I've ever eaten the chicken tasted old, tuff and was very dry. The wraps were the same even the tortilla was stale. The fries were the smallest portion I've ever seen, with them being mostly scraps of potato, and the wings tasted like they'd been fried in last months oil! I also ordered 8 and only got 4 but that was a moot point as they'd have only gone in the bin with the others that didn't get eaten. We don't eat often at kfc but thought it was a bullet-proof choice as all they cook is chicken, and how hard is that to get wrong? How wrong we were! Avoid if you don't want to waste your money. It has also made us very sceptical about eating at kfc ever again"

"I took my mother to the courtyard restaurant as a birthday present and we had a fantastic meal. she has always loved Scarborough, so we spent the morning in the city, a walk along the front and visited peasholm park before the short drive to the ox pasture hall hotel. I had recommended the restaurant and hotel by a friend who stayed for the weekend and said what was a nice place. he has not been wrong! the hotel gardens are absolutely stunning and we were really impressed as we were on the way up. as we were a little early and the weather was sunny, we decided to sit outside on the terrace and drink a drink before we sit on our table. it was fantastic to sit only there and very peaceful. the food itself was just as good and I am trying to think of another meal I enjoyed so much. as a large cattle eater, I decided to use mini-rib filet and brisket of bark meat, which was cooked to perfection. my mother had pork and enjoyed her as well. my wife was busy, so it was not in the position to come with us on my mother's birthday, but I have already promised to visit her so that she can see for herself what a great place it is."

"Booked this restaurant for my 50th birthday celebration especially as it provided gluten free options. I chose the rice balls stuffed with parmesan and mozzarella and they were delicious. Staff very efficient and knowledgeable around gluten free which made me feel comfortable and in good hands. My friends enjoyed their non gluten free meals and drinks."
