"Had not been out for dinner in a really long time. We were in town for a couple days and finally had the opportunity to go for dinner. G&P has always been one of my favourite restaurants to go to. I ordered the halibut, which came with veggies and rice. The halibut was very over cooked and dry, the veggies had no taste as did the rice. Most disappointing meal I have every had at GP. Not sure if I will be going back. It's not cheap and when u you spend the money you expect a good dinner. The service was very good except when I requested a booth I was told they were not available. The whole time we were in the restaurant nobody occupied the booths so not sure why we were told that we couldn't have one.....felt like I was lied too."

"I booked through the open table when we went to the restaurant they did not have our reservation. They were very accommodating but it was a bit frustrating that they didn't know we were coming especially with a party of 9. The table was crowded as they had several other large groups at the same time. I liked the restaurant but was not happy with booking the reservation online."
