"Good restaurants have long left the area and with very few exceptions, the remaining places in the naturist village are more or less the same - that is average at best. Among those exceptions, the « Ecaille d’argent » probably remains the best bet. It is basically a fresh fish shop that will cook your selected fish/shrimps etc on the spot and serve it with some vegetables and aioli. There is a large choice, the fish is extra fresh and excellent, well-cooked and the service is very nice (if a bit hectic in the evening when the place is full). You can order to go as well.The restaurant is toward the camp entry, so a bit protected from the perambulating crowds. We’ve pretty much tested all restaurants around and this one is quite easily the best. You’re allowed to disagree if you’re a meat eater though, as this kind of product is unknown around!"

"As always perfect. Nice dinner with especially cooked courses by an experienced Chef, its a pleasure to have a dinner at this place were the owner's wife is managing the service with class. We usually take the menu of the day which is regularly changing and we are rarely disappointed as everything is good. Nice wine list with excellent Chardonnays."

"We went there unexpectedly a Sunday morning. The setting is nice. We had the lobster salads and one red mullet and then a john dory and the pigeon. everything absolutely delicious. A nice white wine Chardonnay. We will return."

"The Naturist quarter in CdA is sleazy. Everything, except the naked bodies and the beautiful beach, is run down and ugly. The food in most restaurants borders on the inedible. A happy exception to this rule is Le Galion. We have been going there for many years and every return is a pleasure. The place is clean, sparkling and well maintained. The service efficient and friendly and the food, while rather basic, is the only food worth eating in all of the quarter. Everything they serve is fresh, tasty and well prepared. Please don't go there - it is much too crowded as it is."

"First the waiter started screaming when he discovered that we didn't order the food! It is not really our fault that they cannot communicate with each other. We wait more than 40 minutes and after 3 tables that came after us were almost ready to ask... why we don't get food and let them know that our two and a half year old child was hungry, we waited 20 minutes then left the restaurant. Of course, things can go wrong, but at least you should do something to correct it, offer French french frits, bread, water or something."
