"C'est la troisième fois que nous dînons dans le restaurant de l'hôtel Mulino et nous en sommes toujours aussi satisfait. Mon filet de turbot était parfait et l'émincé de poulpe en entrée fut un plat original et délicieux. L'accueil du patron de l'endroit est chaleureux et il parle avec de sa cuisine tessinoise dans un français merveilleusement fleuri. Enfin, Tessin oblige, la carte des vins fait la part belle au cépage local: le roi Merlot. A recommander vraiment."

"Expected more atmosphere. The place was far too bright for evening dining. The food was good but I expected more from this place, and my husband was not impressed with the panna cotta at all. The local wine we had would have been okay, but it was too warm for a red. The service was friendly enough but she made one major no go. She dropped the pouring disc for the wine, but instead of going to get a new one, she picked it off the floor and put it in our bottle. Like I said, I would have expedcted much more from a restaurant like this. Too bad."

"Maybe the top hotel in Ascona?We visited for a meal one early evening we sat on the terrace overlooking the lake, enjoying the view after a few minutes we started to look at the menu and decided what to order.A waitress came up and asked us to move as she was about to reserve the table and proceeded to show us a table right at the back with no view, no apology stopping for a brief moment at another table to tell a gentleman he could have our table to which he replied his wife would not be ready for sometime?We decided not to stay and proceeded to walk away she made no attempt to appease us or apologies.I am so glad we did not stay here."

"Was soll man dazu sagen. Wenn es stimmt, dann stimmt es. Perfektion auf allen Stufen. In einem tollen Ambiente durften wir die Kreationen von Ralf Fliegauf geniessen. Ganz grosses Kino. Ein Menü der absoluten Spitzenklasse. Mehr geht nicht. Das 7 Gang Menü war mit allen grüßen und wünschen aus und von der Küche dann ein 13! Gänge Menü. Wow. Alle Kreationen waren wunderbar anzuschauen und schmeckten noch besser. Ein absolutes Muss für richtige Feinschmecker und Gourmet. Eine Offenbarung. Vielen, vielen Dank für den herrlichen Abend, welcher ein perfektes Weekend im Giardino wunderbar abgerundet hat. Hier stimmt einfach alles."
