"This was our first visit to this location. We had a issue with how my wife's steak was prepared but the manager, Kevin, took care of it right away. He offered my wife soup so we could eat together. Nice offer but she declined as she had already eaten a salad. Great service. Pleasant server: Nora. Great job! Based on how the situation was handed, the prices, and taste of our food, we will return. BTW-Great atmosphere plus the entire staff is very friendly."

"Our yearly visit to Whirlwind is not complete without experiencing this gem. Wish they would put one in N Scottsdale? Ambience is great, food is consistently wonderful, staff are always friendly and you too can experience the thickest biggest pork chop that exists outside of a large hog. Menu has some great choices, the facility is split up into formal dinning, outside patio, bar seating or large group high tops. The different meats we've had here are always cooked perfectly, great price on oysters and very flexible menu options. The bar has a very large selection of all kinds."

"Booked an early dinner, wanted to check this place out for a while. Having read some of the reviews, I was a little reluctant, but we were promptly seated. Ordered drinks, the bar was a little slow, but nothing to complain about. My wife ordered the steak salad, which was good. I ordered the prime burger and sweet potato fries and a salad. Burger was really good, two patties cooked to order, they brought fries instead of the sweets, but they corrected the mistake and the sweet potato fries were tasty. Would have been better hot. The salad was fresh with two big strips of bacon. Overall the food, service and ambiance of the restaurant was between fair and good. Might give them another shot, but wouldn't rush back."

"The atmosphere is elegant and beautiful. The place was clean and spotless. The patio is positioned facing a courtyard and you can enjoy the passers-by and the music play in the bar across. The food is succulent and delightful. I have been to several steak houses but this one stands out as interesting. The steaks and seafood quality are on par with the price points. They are also cooked to order and taste excellent."
