"Excellent little gem of a place tucked between a Vietnamese and an ice cream place. This is an Italian without pizza. Homemade pasta. Interesting menu, different from the mass-produced fare you get at many other Italians. Caciacavallo al forno was a delicious melted cheese, and the calamaretti on rucola were also very good. Baby squid at its best.Tagliolini al Tartufo is a dish I can't resist and this one was really finger-licking good. Good Primitivo by glass. Friendly, competent service. Be prepared to spend a little time waiting for the courses, but they are worth the wait since all seem to be freshly made."

"Over years ago, this used to be one of my favourite places to enjoy surf n turf and have just the most incredible wines but after a really bad experience a couple of years ago, I never came back. For a girls' night out,...I decided to give it a new chance and was not disappointed. The meat was excellent and the fries with parmesan and truffles just yummy. The wine selection was, as always fantastic. The only let down was dessert while the mousse au chocolat tasted really good, it was not extraordinary. Service was very attentive so nothing to complain this time. Prices are rather on the higher end."

"I knew this would be good when I tasted the olive oil. A little fresh bread , a little butter, a little salt and the olive oil. I complimented their olive oil, chatted about it and where they got it, and later they gave me...a bottle. happy days. So I ordered the warm octopus polipo on heart of palm with lemon and olive oil. The octopus I think was chargrilled, and it was delicious. Maybe a little more lemon, but I wouldn't have fought the chef on the nuance because the chef, you know, is right. My colleagues had the beef capaccio, the polipo carpaccio and some pasta with truffle. Yeah baby. Everybody professed the starters delicious, and cleaned the plates with the bread. The main courses; beef fillet, monkfish and fillet tips on fresh made pasta, were variously excellent and in the latter case very good. The only problem with the latter, was seeing my colleagues getting such delicious dishes. Plates came without patterns, principally because patrons wiped them clean as we did. The fillet steak was the size of your hand, a large helping for lunch. After my colleague ate it he realised he hadn't been asked how he wanted it. Chef knows best I suspect. We just drank water but at another table a red wine was delivered into a decanter that was so large it nearly needed wheels pictured. Then good coffee and a small accompanying piece of home made soft chocolate. The lunch was probably about a head, but how often do you eat this well? Worth the money, and isn't that really the question? If you eat badly it is much solace that it might have been cheap"

"Every time I come to Frankfurt I come here to eat. Last time I have been at of November. Took pork steak with baked potato and it was great. It was prepared just as I asked. With this should be served, by menu, french...fries but I asked waiter and she arranged baked potato with sour cream and it was great. There is salad self service and all vegetables was very fresh and tasty."
