"I went to Bukara last night to introduce a friend to what has to be one of Bogotas best kept secrets of an evening time. At lunch time it is always busy and can be difficult to get a seat if you are a late...arrival. However in the evenings it is always possible to be a walking and it never fails to impress. I no longer ask for the menu as the knowledgeable waiters recommendations have alwasy been very good. The steak tartare, the salmon and the pancetta last night were no exceptions and the calm positively tranquil atmosphere allows easy relaxed conversation. Not the easiest place to find so if you get dropped by taxi outside the World Trade Centre on Avenida Calle 100 and walk through the walkway behind the sculpture, Bukara is on the other side of the park, it is the one with the flames."

"I really had good hopes on this one because of the reviews. We arrived and took good 20 minutes to get a waiter. Took our order: the Ossobuco de Ternera and croquetas de Risotto which I told them I was going to eat as a main dish since I was not that hungry. 1. They did not bring bread. (ok fine! they were too busy to remember 2. they bring the Ossobuco and a plate of risotto. (ok fine! they messed up the order no big deal I sent back the plate of risotto and told them the order was the croquetas of risotto. 3. The ossobuco was totally cold...my guess the didnt put it in the microwave that long..because it got that microwave taste. On top of that, that was some sort of mince meat (hard to tell but that was not an upscale plate...did I mention they charge $50,000 for this plate?? The side pasta was cold AND raw. how could you have uncooked pasta in an upscale italian place?? 4. The Croquetas de Risotto came and all they were, frozen cheese balls., I was hoping for a risotto inside (hence the name nope, no such a thing! 5. But the most epic fail was the bill. they charged me for the initial risotto that I sent back. I actually didnt realize of the mistake and paid and left. At the door I decided to double checked the bill because I did realize it was a lot of money for what I got (thank goodness I kept the bill because the waiter was hiding it from me and just then the Concierge Magically realized their mistake and promptly came to the door to let me know that there was a mistake in the bill (I bet they saw me Glancing again at the bill and they quickly approached me Bad bad bad experience...Expensive/Microwave food and on top of that, they are sneaky when the bill come. Definitely don 't go there."

"... be very careful, take your time to verify the ticket. Great burgers, very good service. At 1:30PM (local time) the waiting time for 4 is about 5 minutes. Once we sited, in just a few minutes someone take the order and in about 15 to 20 minutes we were eating."

"My partner and I had lunch in La Mar after visiting Mercado de las Pulgas. Service was excellent and friendly. The food was excellent. The Ceviche with leche de tigre was simply delicious. The tuna steak in pepper sauce was algo good. The dessert, with chocolate and Maracuya was excellent. Prices were comparable to other good restaurants in Bogota. A word is fine over the room, which is airy and beautiful, for a complete experience."
