"Booked an early dinner, wanted to check this place out for a while. Having read some of the reviews, I was a little reluctant, but we were promptly seated. Ordered drinks, the bar was a little slow, but nothing to complain about. My wife ordered the steak salad, which was good. I ordered the prime burger and sweet potato fries and a salad. Burger was really good, two patties cooked to order, they brought fries instead of the sweets, but they corrected the mistake and the sweet potato fries were tasty. Would have been better hot. The salad was fresh with two big strips of bacon. Overall the food, service and ambiance of the restaurant was between fair and good. Might give them another shot, but wouldn't rush back."

"The first time here. Reservations are highly recommended. There is no place where you stand or sit in the restaurant to wait on a table. There's a bank in the front, but the day we went was windy. Great service was a little slow, but still great. We ordered chicken waffles lump crabcake on fried green tomatoes. Spoon bread of course fruit potatoes. So delicious! We will try out the complete menu again because we only tried brunch."

"The remodel created a better layout at Social 52. Food and drinks were good-like the variety of items for brunch. We waited at our table for 10 minutes before stopping the hostess to inquire about our waiter. Once the waiter arrived, the service improved tremendously."

"Yum!. My wife and I were in town doing the tourist thing and we wanted something we couldn't get at home. there are no Vietnamese restaurants where we live so we decided to try Mekong. I'm glad we did. the food was great, the beers fabulous and the service top notch. off we lived here in Richmond, we'd be regulars. This was as great experience."

"Underwhelmed. I have been here twice before tonight, once for a lobster special that was excellent and reasonable and once we had a bottle of wine and 2 seafood salads and ate outside and it was perfect. Love the atmosphere plus you would never know there was a recession, packed full on a wet wed night ! Downhill all the way after a yummy lump crabmeat cocktail. Service was fine, just the food was in no way matched to the price, especially considering you have to pay extra for side dishes. It also seemed to take a very long time for main courses, waitress apologized so not sure what happened there."
