"We have made many visits to La Vallee, for it is quite local for us. There is nowhere we know in this beautiful Department of Loir et Cher which can match it. Marc and Marie Georget maintain the highest of standards,and there is none of...the coolness which, for us, spoils many of the best restaurants we visit. Marc is a wonderful chef, and has a tremendous report with guests and a fine sense of humour. Marie is charming and efficient, welcoming, and putting her guests at their ease. Do try Marc's champignons, creatively cooked and served, and the veal, fish and duck mains are excellent. We have never had a disappointment wherever we have ventured on the menu. Just leave room for an excellent desert! The wine list contains many fine local vintages, and if you love Loire wines as much as us, you are in for a delight. Strongly recommended!"

"We stayed at the hotel and for our first night on site, we had booked a table for three (with a child). We found this good but some flats however. with a card that highlights the products, we expected to put them on the spot. the entrance around the egg and the dish around the pig was relatively successful. On the other hand, the entrance around the salmon (mixing line with tiny pieces of salmon and vegetables on a flavourless foam) and the dish around the coddycoat have disappointed us a lot (fine cooked linet but too salted on a bed of spinach). Unfortunately we had to fall a bad day. so we wouldn't stay on our end, we wanted to go back, but we were too late, the restaurant was full. which proves that we had to fall for a bad night; We'll try again the next time we'll be around."
