"The Saltwater Grill has been a Galveston staple for some time. I was encouraged that the menu has been updated with new items, while preserving some of their best offerings - I swear the Shanghai Delight is laced with Prozac because I'm always happy when I eat it. This time I tried one of their new "naked" offerings, hoping the fish would be allowed to shine. I had the grilled redfish, which was done perfectly - the very thin edges were a little crisp and carmelized but the fish was still moist and flavorful. I did miss the bread - this was one of the few restaurants in town that started with something with substance, so I was quite disappointed when a little crock of crackers appeared instead of bread. The restaurant is very noisy - I was ok hearing my companions but certainly couldn't hear the server well."

"We were thrilled to learn Ray's would be open for Christmas dinner. Our expectations were more than met and we had a lovely dinner, great menu, enjoyed our bar choices, and were made to feel very welcome by all staff. We will do this next Christmas if we are given this opportunity. As well, I am bringing another friend here for lunch next week. Can't beat Ray's Cafe or Boathouse."

"The menu isn't that exciting, but it's a restaurant in a hotel so I don't think you should expect it to be. But the décor is top notch and of course it's very conveniently located across the lobby if you are staying at the Seattle Airport Marriott. The best part???.....the service. "In a sweet part of the city. From the moment I went to the door, the service was exceptional. The menu offers a lot of variety.
