"We have been dining out in the region for some 12 years now and have been happy with many reasonable restaurants and friendly welcomes (for example at Can Marty just around the corner). we had dined here before but under previous ownership. In terms of fine dining this is the best value we have enjoyed. It made a great change to have something neatly prepared that wasn 't steak or magret or a salad. The decor was very pleasant crisp white table cloth, fresh rose on the table, elegant wine glasses and efficient unobtrusive service. The two of us had the €29 menu for 3 courses, plus the €4 supplement for the Rocamodour goats cheese on toast. The Chateau Montner Premium red was excellent at €19. Starters were Scottish smoked salmon pigeon salad. Mains we both had ballotine of chicken with chorizo served with prawns. Desserts were the Passion Fruit Charlotte Raspberry pistachio tartlette. It was a pleasure to enjoy such a meal and we will return during our Easter visit."
