"We attempt to visit Gananoque annually and look forward to visiting Riva as part of our getaway. Our visit this year was an early dinner prior to our attending a production at the 1000 Island playhouse. Riva continues to provide a most memorable dining experience. At this visit, we ordered a crusted salmon and a linguini prawn dish. Both were outstanding! The service and staff were excellent. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner without being rushed and had plenty of time to walk to the playhouse for the evening presentation. We have visited Riva on previous occasions and find it remains an idea restaurant for a special dining experience. Highly recommended."

"We had dinner there and the food was excellent! The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was perfect. From the old style architecture to the music that was playing, everything was in perfect sync. If you are in gan anytime soon, this is a must. The two gentlemen that own this place take great pride and it shows in every aspect of this place. Well done, we will be back.
