"Having been out of the country (and therefore my home city of Manchester) for the last four years, I’m still trying to catch up on the latest trends and eateries to have hit the high street in my absence. Guys, there’s a lot. Prezzo is one of the trendy chain restaurants that I hadn’t heard of before I set off travelling; they now apparently have over in the UK, including three in Manchester alone. So when I was asked if I’d like to pop down and try out the new summer menu at their restaurant on Deansgate, I willingly obliged, and dragged Scott along with me too."

"So today we had a very nice lunch. pizza express is a new pizza restaurant for me since I made my debut here. the interiors are sponge and that of a new age pizza restaurant. we got the pfeffer faithful is regular crust and a vegetarian in a classic Romanesque crust. there's only something about thin crust pizzas! both were very good. the sauce was beautiful and tangy and the beats were really good with it. the portion size is very large and enough for 3-4 people who is kickass! will surely come back for a scrub. the highlight when the meal was the teig balls for me with the simple garlic butter. it's just simple brot in the combi over for a minute or so done and really served hot!...read more"
