"Large menu with a variety of dishes, including traditional paella and foreign favorites. Our party had fish and chips, steak, chicken and lasagna and we enjoyed the meal. The portion sizes are good value for money and the food is standard. It is pleasant to sit outside on the main road. The service was a little slow, even though we were fed in a busy time."

"Hartley Brownes have had New Owners for about a Month but John and His Partner decided not to change the Name. As only Takeaways have been allowed for the past few weeks My Friend and I were craving Fish and Chips. We both ordered Cod, Chips and Mushy Peas with a Slice of Bread and Butter All for the Princely Sum of 8 Euros Each. It tasted Delicious especially the Chips as they were Golden Brown. We have ordered Our Takeaway for 5PM Tonight and so looking forward to it. Good Luck to John and His Partner in their New Venture."

"This is the second d time visiting the venue. Absolutely fantastic. The owner is very welcoming and friendly. The food was all home cooked which made a refreshing change was do good having hand cut,proper chips. Would recommend 100% and will return again next time we're in Alicante."

"Visited this place bout 8pm the place was empty, would have had to know that went but we decided to try it. big mistake that I had fish chips, the fish was still frozen in the middle, terrible. one of my friends got an salate that was far from fresh, the salate was actually corrupted. all in a very bad experience. I'm sorry I couldn't recommend this place in fairness to everyone."
