"Flippers is a fish and chips floating barge, (and a hobart institution). it is the first of maybe five or six uferbarian along the frame dock. grill fish is gluten-free. the chips are gluten-free, except they are in boiled community oil. we enjoyed a grilled blue granadier and chips."

"Just a few minutes walk from our accommodation we enjoyed our culinary experience in this historic hotel. The grilled flatbread with house made dives were delicious and not too heavy. Would highly recommend the Shippies Catch, which was a perfect share menu to share. Staff helpful...and friendly, service was prompt. Very recommended."

"Phat Fish is fabulous. Had a heartwarming chowder with a generous amount of fresh fish, calamari, mussels and vegetables. It was hot, creamy and tasty with some lovely toasted sourdough to soak up the bits left at the bottom of the bowl. It was cooked to order so I enjoyed my Hellfire G&T while I waited. Great food, sufficient alfresco dining and friendly service, oh, and the price was pretty darn good. Go there, it’s right in the middle of the action at Salamanca Place."
