"We were encouraged to visit this establishment with friends but unfortunately it has not improved over time. They are marketing themselves as a place specialising in Beers, Ciders, and Whiskies which they do. However the range to a native is unimpressive. The cider is not...on tap, and the beers tend also to be bottled, and expensive in comparason to other bars in Berlin serving the same. The food is also nothing to write home about. We paid for a cheeseburger, which was still cool in the centre and greasy. The bun was untoasted with no salad to speak of only a single slice of tomato. The chilli con carne should be renamed sin carne as it was very thin indeed costing thereabouts. The atmmosphere is sterile to say the least with radio pop being echoed from the cold tile floor. Our last visit was for an organised event whereby no smoking was allowed on the outside terrace, and we were disallowed to take our half pint glasses (pints were not available to purchase that night only half pints... go figure outside. The entrance fee was per person, and we were physically removed at because the event was over we arrived at pm to a gruff woman who welcomed us by stating that I could not go through without a ticket which my partner held in his hand.She then presented us with cards to stamp and a twee booklet explaining the difference notes of the beers. All in all extremely over organised and I felt offended and micro managed as a paying guest. This place is out in the Styx, don't bother travelling there, there are better places further north with an equally good if not better selection of drinks, better selection of food vegetarian food is chips and egg salad) and you will not be told what to do as soon as you walk through the door... I'm sorry that this review sucks, but I'm not because it is freedom of opinion.But you can go if you want, and witness the tumbleweeds for yourself."

"Great drinks and delicious food, good veggie options as well! Nice vibe and friendly service : we went there three days on a row during our visit to Berlin sometimes for a full meal other times just for a drink. They show football games and other sport events as well. Outside area is only open until 10 pm though."

"Wanted to try something different from the meat heavy local fare, and what a great choice this was. We started with the ceviche and oysters. Both excellent (though the shallot vinegar for the oysters could have been better). We then shared halibut and cod...fillets with fried and cucumber/ginger salad all excellent and the aeoli was outstanding. Really great and somewhat unexpected find."

"We were a group of ten and so pretty much took over the entire restaurant. it came highly recommended by locals, and did not disappoint. Mekan and his family had a good range of fresh fish on offer. Lovely mezze were followed by grilled calamari and other fish (not sure of their names). Wines and beers were available. It is easy to get to/from by public transport, even in the early hours, when we caught a night tram back to Alexanderplatz."

"Not sure if I should write a review here, because this is a very nice place in Berlin that's not (yet) flooded by tourists. Bin here twice within one month for two business events and really love it. In this unique venture you can enjoy good food and drinks from various merchants. The atmosphere is unique, one can sit anywhere. It's one big food market annex restaurant. Good for both groups as couples."
