"Lovely thatched cottage style restaurant. Parking to rear of the restaurant but slightly limited. Parking on the road available. Lovely beams but watch your head if you are tall. The Sunday lunch was excellent. Good service overall. Definitely will be back"

"I feel people should be made aware of this, order 3 lots of Kids cod bites and chips for my 3 nieces who are under the age of 10 to receive the cod bites with BONES in them, if it wasn’t for my mother in law pulling the cod bites apart then one of them could of seriously been hurt or even choked, when calling the fish and chip shop all they could say was what would you like me to do about it and was dam right rude! She also said that it doesn’t state it doesn’t have bones in it so it was our fault, just a word of warning before you buy your children cod bites!!!"

"Went for a takeaway was told the pizzas were slightly well done after looking asked them to re do as more than slightly well done! Said no! Blamed the flour and said it would happen again. Asked for money back was refused. Also ordered 2 types of pizza but both were done the same including an ingredient not liked but 1 of the people. The beans were stone cold. The staff were generally rude and uninterested in even being there."

"The food portions were massive, but my steak didn't come how I asked. The lasagne was a bit plain but was pretty decent. What really let it down was the service. We waited at the bar for about 15 mins. We were then sat down for 25 minutes after being shown to the table before even being greeted. The food then took 50 minutes to come out to us. We were ready to up and leave to be honest and just pay for the drinks. Waitresses were in the kitchen for ages and ages at a time, no one checked up on us and we had to go to the bar to get more drinks. One couple of ladies waited an hour just for their starter alone, we were going to get dessert but didn't bother as we didn't want to wait even more. Then when we went to pay, another customer had to go and fetch a server . It's a real shame because the food was alright, but we won't be coming back again. For an over £40 meal, to have that level of bad service was a really disappointing time, especially considering we were on a date. Just overall felt really awkward and bit gutted we paid so much."
