"I would highly recommend this takeaway. We are up from Sunshine Coast for boat races.I have never tasted chips fish pieces and crumbed calamari as tasty as this. Just ordered hamburgers for lunch today. Do yourself a favour and try"

"We were attracted here by other reviews and were not disappointed. We wanted grilled (not crumbed or battered) and had to pay a bit more (we cannot understand the logic of this as there's less involved). Garden salads came with the fish&chip dinner and we were delighted to find it was "straight" salad - iceberg lettuce, tomato, cucumber, a small whole beetroot, etc and their homemade coleslaw (yum, yum). Overall we felt it was a good dinner. We were quite happy with the serving size of chips given we also had salad."

"I was expecting battered chips and They weren't, plus they were under cooked and soggy before I got to the car.The crumbed sausage was also undercooked which was obvious by the light crumb.Wasnt a very pleasant experience this time.Grew up loving these chips but the quality has declined.COOK THEM LONGER."

"I cant believe this place is still open. you will be far more satisfied by getting a frozen meal and heating it yourself, which is probably how this ' restaurant' operates anyway. I don't like to make bad reviews, so if you are inclined to eat there, ask if they have a tandoori oven, and ask of they make the curries on site. if they don't answer yes to both, then my comments are founded."

"A Bundaberg institution; guaranteed to always be there for you when you stumble drunkenly out of the pub at 3am. It has been there for decades, serving generations of pickled Bundabergians. There really is only one thing there that I can guarantee won't kill you from food poisoning and that's the hot chips with melted cheese and gravy (I'm not even sure they sell anything else? I wouldn't know). Sure, its tastes disgusting unless you're six times over the legal limit, but it fills a hole and will hopefully delay the inevitable spew until you get to the privacy of your own home. There's even a bench outside where you can share your bucket of chips with other intoxicated patrons (or have a quick nap). Fantastic."

"A bit of a diamond in the rough from the outside, but clean and tidy inside. The two ladies that served us were friendly. The service was prompt and they even threw in an extra piece if fish as the two we got were a bit on the small side. You can tell they keep their cooking oil in tip top shape as everything tasted fresh. The crumbed sea scallops were the real deal (roe still on) and the calamari was cooked to perfection. All round very pleased with our fish and chips. Will be back again next time we're in Bundy."

"The Club Hotel set is was pretty good but unfortunately we found our meals let us down big time , we made the mistake of ordering the Wagyu steak and I must say it was worst steak I have ever had , We should have...returned our meals after the first bite but we just left with most of our meals uneaten.the steak was so tough it could not be chewed ,a waste of $60 odd dollars"
