"We held our ceremony and reception at The Fleece. It was the perfect wedding venue. The picturesque views surrounding The Fleece set the back drop for many special photos. The staff couldn’t do enough for us and were on hand to ensure every little detail was perfect and that the day ran smoothly. We would like to say a HUGE thank you to Carrie-Anne and the events team for making everything come together. The food was amazing and the canapés were delicious! The rooms were incredibly cozy and our guests enjoyed staying in them, the bridal suite was fantastic too! Once again thank you soo much to everyone at the fleece for making our special day truly amazing! We would highly recommend the fleece to anyone!"

"Best burger and good value for money! the spicy jalapeño burger especially loved - my little girl really enjoyed her kids meal it was a delicious decent piece fish with delicious chips, some sweets a toy and a drink for under £3 -wow! plus very friendly staff will definitely be back -danke"

"Sometimes when you pass somewhere it might look empty, I took s chance and have not looked back . Absolutely wonderful Staff, and let me tell u Brill Fish andChips , made with love. They taste fantastic,the lady cooks your fish to order, nice and hot, you here a ping from a thermometer and she know the fish is cooked to perfection with hardly and waste. If you are a fan of bit they too nice and hot. Peas Curry Gravy all very nice . You will not be disappointed, I have now been several times, you will note disappointed at all . Honestly take it from me they deserve an award. So if there anyone reading what I have wrote, who is in the business of awarding chip shops. This get my vote every time. Try for yourself . Happy Go lucky lady they even have red sauce and folks and trays for free, not Many have that these days, there is a courtesy box if you feel contributing is your thing. All I can say it's worth visiting. Defo recommended"

"This is one of the top gluten free fish and chip takeaways that I’ve ordered from. Not only does the menu go above and beyond the choices that any other fish and chip shop offer for gluten free options but the staff are friendly and pride themselves on their knowledge of gluten free availability as well. It’s such a treat to have a number of options such as gluten free fried halloumi, curry sauce, gravy and loaded fries. The staffs confidence in gluten free offers makes the whole experience so much more enjoyable. We have ordered from the ‘Deliveroo’ app also, which suggests a gluten free menu, but doesn’t have ‘gf’ next to the orders (having been burnt before at different restaurants) I rang up to make sure it had gone through as Gluten Free. The staff were already on it, ensuring me it was, with lovely customer service. On arrival, all gluten free orders were in a different bag to the other orders with defined ‘gluten free’ tape on each box like paradise to my eyes! These experiences really go above and beyond for a gluten free person eating out and it’s appreciated all the way. Ps, watch BBC iPlayer Britains Top Takeaway for the true reflection of a fish and chippy ran with family spirit!"
