"I recently went here for brunch with 4 other people around 1 o'clock Sunday afternoon and the service was horrible. The waitress (older with a blonde bun) was prompt to take our orders right away and the food came decently fast but after we got our food we sat there for 45 mins without even seeing our waitress. All of our glasses were empty and we all wanted something else to drink/eat. The waitress even went to the table beside us to take their orders and still never checked on us. She finally came over and just asked who was paying what without even asking how our meal was or if we wanted a dessert menu. Then when we got our bills two things were wrong on it but we didn't have the time to wait for the waitress to fix it. The food is amazing but with such horrible service I won't be back again. To the server who waitressed us... if your section is to big and you can't handle it ask for help! You will actually leave with tips in your pocket next time...... what a shame!"

"I love the location of this restaurant, the staff are amazing, great view. I was disappointed by breakfast. I thought the buffet was overpriced for what was available and none of it was that amazing. It was what I expect at say...,a family hotel free lobby breakfast. I might have been there on an off day. Or maybe they didn't have all their dishes out as it was just me. But this restaurant has such great potential, I think they should try a little harder to make it a more interesting breakfast buffet, or significantly lower the price of the one they have, like cut it in half and maybe they would have more people there."

"My husband and I enjoyed the Wednesday pasta night supper. My seafood alfredo fusili was excellent with crab, shrimps and scallops plentiful! The alfredo sauce was flavorful and of good consistancy. My husband had a pasta with moules. The "moules" were plentiful and the linguini well prepared. An excellent meal at a reasonable cost, however a small salad with these entrées would have made the meal complete, Adding a $ to the cost for a small salad would improve the value overall. We will definitely return and want to try Friday Fish night which boasts of Battered Fish and Chips (a à la Ramsay style according to the chef.) A special price will likely apply as applied on our Pasta night. The pasta dishes were $16.00, I believe with beverage not included. The restaurant is quite clean, and likely attended well on Sports events as the 2 TV. screens were of superior definition. Staff was pleasant and service was fast. We would recommend this restaurant over the Black Angus,also a recent addition to Carleton Place, as there are more choices on the menu .."
