"I 've had many take aways from Lucky House. The food is always good and it is very good value for money. Pity it 's cash only and they don 't deliver though. Try their salt 'n ' chilli ribs, they are fantastic!!"

"I needed somewhere close to Weldon to pick up Fish Chips. My daughter searched on Google and found The Old Village Fish Chip Shop'. It was easy to find on the high street and there was plenty of roadside parking. The food was...freshly cooked to order and well worth the wait. [They serve Gluten free on Mondays] The gentleman was very friendly and accommodating as i requested each person's order in separate polystyrene boxes [which also kept them hot]. We had fish, battered sausage, plain sausage, fishcake, chips and peas. All of which were cooked to perfection. I have not had such tasty chips in ages. Great find and we will definitely be returning. [seating was also available for those that want to eat in' Many Thanks"
