"We visit this chippy whenever we come to the beach. Friendly service and the food is always hot and tasty. They also have chinese which we havent tried yet but it looks good."

"We came last night 16/7/15 booked a table for 10. When we arrived we were shown to our table and asked if we wanted any drinks. It was fairly busy for a Thursday night, which is always a good sign. <br/>We ordered some starters, I had the garlic bread which I shared with my hubby. $7 but it said a baguette and it wasn 't. More like normal bread cut into triangles. Nice though.<br/>I ordered the mushroom tagliatelle $18.90 with added chicken for $3 extra. I really wanted the crispy skin salmon that 's on the menu, but they have stop doing it. Oh well. The tagliatelle came and my husband said straight away 'jeez the mushrooms are abit burnt ' but I tried it anyway, and ate nearly all of it because I was hungry. But it did leave a charred mushroom taste in my mouth, so I didn 't enjoy it as much as I 'd liked. <br/>My husband ordered the Brew 'd prime beef burger $20.90 with added onion rings $2 and it was absolutely massive. Hahaha He loved it though. My mother in law had the fish and chips which looked really good and my son 's girlfriend ordered a pizza which looked very good too. <br/>For dessert I ordered the creme brulee and it was good! Very good!<br/>The service was perfect, the atmosphere good, yes it was a good night. But I won 't be having the tagliatelle again. We will be back. <br/>Carpark round the back too. Bonus!"

"Such a nice spot! Our server was super lovely, knew all the tap beers off the top of her head. The mussels and fries hit the spot perfectly, so tasty! Gin cocktail 5/5. Definitely recommend eating here!"

"Good food, swift service, nice coffee. We were sat outside the cafe, in a common area, so ambience was a bit lacking but looks much nicer inside, from what little I saw. Seemed a little pricey for the size of the portions, but the kids menu is small but good pancakes have anise or something in them and are absolutely delicious! 4.5 stars+"

"This is my usual fish and chip shop, I took one star off as there is the odd occasion when things are hit and miss but usually its pretty good. The chicken burgers are delicious and you get a crazy amount of chicken in them. The lasagne squares rock to! Reasonably priced and the chips are always good!"

"I went to the crooked elm for dinner last night with my family, and despite it being busy the food and service was phenomenal! Great vegetarian options and the pies are just awesome! Really cool cozy atmosphere inside the pub as well! The Staff/team were so lovely and made us feel welcome! Highly recommend the crooked elm, we will be back soon!"

"Beautiful location and the food is delicious however very overpriced which is understandable I guess due to the nice location. I will be going back there occasionally but personally if I weigh up the food price and the cost it is not really worth it. Overall it is nice to go back occasionally as the view is incredible, friendly service and the food is ok."
