"Make yourself a favor and skip this restaurant. High prices for bad quality food and deorganized kitchen. I was served 20 minutes after my table. Five minutes after my meal we were asked if we wanted the check. Additionally, my order was wrong (and I was charged an additional fee that was removed after they let it know). I really wanted to like this restaurant (it has a nice atmosphere), but it's just not worth it. I felt very unpleasant and hungry. Even if you decide to go, please note that the prices on the menu are cash prices, but you pay an additional 3.95% if you are billing (even if you pay cash). You will then refund the fee after you pay. While this is not a big thing on its own, this is not written on the menu or explained by the waiter. There is a very small sign that it explains. Again, not a big deal, but feels misleading."

"So I came to Cape Cod for a lot of my 61-year-old life and would probably visit the Ocean House for dinner in the last 25 years without complaints. Dinner and the atmosphere were wonderful. All this changed tonight for a person who claimed to be one of the owners. As usual, my wife and I arrived before 4:00 when they open to get two seats at the bar. Unknownly, they have only changed their policy to reservations, even at the bar, with a 2 hour limit. There was an opening at the bar so we took the seats. We had drinks, appetizers, salads and dinners. We ordered desert and our last drink around 5:50. Around about 6:05 one of the ?owners came to us and told us that our 2 hour limit despite empty high tops around the bar and open bar seats. We said we could take Dessert to finish it. The couple that sat next to us that we talked to most of the evening was rotten about what was beaten. I paid the bill. After the exit I approached the owner and told her, after I came 25 years, I never felt so disrespected and she cries at me and said: I? m never welcome again! Are you kidding? Maybe she shouldn't be the owner because she was a embarrassment to this institution."

"My family and I were running late looking for a place to eat after watching the sun set at Mayflower beach. After attempting a couple places to no avail we drove to Swan River Restaurant. To be honest we have been there before and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. What made this experience stand out was the incredible customer service we received upon our arrival. We got there at 9:00 if not a little later and expected to be turned away as they close at 9. Not only did they seat us, they told us to take our time, relax and enjoy. The staff and especially our waitress were over the top cordial and went above calming my trepidations at arriving at closing time. We had a delicious meal and I felt the need to create this review to say thank you for providing such great generosity which is seldom seen these these days. We will be back very soon!"

"The Ocean House was always excellent. My favorite restaurant. The Lobster Ravioli was great. I would recommend The Ocean House.i to reach the Ocean House 3 times a season. Every time I go, it's better. Professional staff, clean, not so loud this year, no entertainment at 6PM in the restaurant."

"I had a daily special, Mac& Cheese with pulled pork, and it was excellent comfort food. I would imagine maybe in cold weather like the fall or winter, that dish would be even better! The beer choices were plentiful, with at least a dozen craft beers on tap. The atmosphere was casual, but classy, and friendly. The bar tenders were very easy going and professional, with a good grip on the food choices, and the drinks as well. A good overall impression, and i would go again for sure ?"

"We love the dog house! My favorite is the fish tacos, but all tacos (bef and chicken) are great! Hot dogs are delicious! Great casual place, love the music must go when you are in Dennisport!"
